Maloto Volunteer distributes a meal at Kwithu Orphan Feeding and Community Center

Nearly 1.5 million children in Malawi are orphans. Many of these children lack access to food. Maloto, with its local partner, the Kwithu Women’s Group, began a feeding program for orphans and vulnerable children. Initially the program fed about 20 children once a week, today the program is feeding hundreds of children 3 times a week. For many of these children, this is the only food they receive.
